HUMAN DISCOVERY. NEW POSSIBILITIES.

Standing on the
shoulders of giants.

The people behind our mitochondrial research.

Every AI-assisted hypothesis begins with human discovery. This is a living acknowledgement of the researchers whose work is cited in Mito Map’s published mitochondrial papers—and a trail back to the science they contributed.

A NOTE ON METHOD

Credit, with a paper trail.

What enters the index

Published, public, normal-queue literature and theory papers. Bibliographies are read only from manuscript files matching their recorded SHA-256 hashes. Private work, drafts, conflict papers and manual releases are excluded.

What the numbers mean

Authors are ranked by the number of distinct published DOI records citing their written name, then by bibliography entries. Duplicate entries within a paper count once. Separate DOI versions may count separately; these are not deduplicated concept families.

Names have limits

Names are displayed as written, using recognizable surname-and-initials lists. Abbreviated names are not verified identities. Namesakes may be combined; alternate spellings may remain separate. “Et al.” coauthors and unrecognized formats are not guessed. Coverage is shown above.

A citation is an acknowledgement

Frequency does not measure scientific merit, endorsement, or clinical validity. AI-assisted papers propose interpretations and hypotheses; the cited researchers have not necessarily reviewed them.
