Terms of Service
These terms explain what Mito Map needs to do to operate your account, and how the default research and external-sharing permission works.
Using Mito Map
By creating an account or using Mito Map, you agree to these terms.
1. Consent to data use
By signing up, submitting information, or continuing to use Mito Map, you agree that we may collect, store, review, analyze, copy, modify, transform, and use your data to operate the service, support you, troubleshoot problems, improve scoring and reports, improve models, build product features, evaluate performance, and help identify ways Mito Map may be useful to you or other users.
2. What this covers
This permission applies to account details, profile information, health data, symptoms, conditions, interventions, goals, measured-function results, lab uploads, saved maps, drafts, submissions, generated outputs, product interactions, support messages, research preferences, and other information you choose to provide or create through the service.
3. Default research and external-sharing permission
Research and external-sharing permission is on by default when you create a Mito Map account. Unless you turn that permission off in Profile Settings or a separate written agreement restricts particular data, you agree that authorized Mito Map personnel, contractors, advisors, researchers, clinicians, collaborators, partners, vendors, prospective partners, buyers, licensees, and other third parties may review or receive identifiable health information, including PHI where applicable, when we believe that review or sharing may help you, support research or validation, support publication, support commercial development, support partnerships, or otherwise advance Mito Map's work.
4. Turning research and external sharing off
You can turn research and external-sharing permission off in Profile Settings. Turning it off does not remove your account access or current product features, but it tells Mito Map not to use or externally share your identifiable information for the research, validation, publication, commercial-development, partnership, licensing, diligence, and collaboration purposes described above after the opt-out is saved, except where another permission, legal basis, or written agreement applies.
5. Product improvement and support
You understand and agree that we may use your data to troubleshoot issues, personalize experiences, improve our models, workflows, reports, scoring systems, and recommendations, monitor performance, build new features, and make the service more helpful for you and other users.
6. Legal and contractual limits
Some data may be subject to separate written agreements, such as a clinical agreement, business associate agreement, research consent, data use agreement, or partner contract. If a separate written agreement specifically limits how particular data may be used, we will treat that data according to that agreement and applicable law.
7. No guarantee of uninterrupted service
Mito Map is provided on an as-is and as-available basis. We may update, suspend, limit, or remove parts of the service at any time.
8. Your responsibility
You are responsible for the information you submit and for using the service in a lawful way. Do not upload anything you do not have the right to share.
9. Changes to these terms
We may update these terms from time to time. Continued use of Mito Map after an update means you accept the revised terms.
10. Contact
If you have questions about these terms, contact the Mito Map team through the product or any contact method we make available.
